Funding Opportunities for Students

The Norris Center offers financial support to undergraduate students working on projects that relate to natural history. There are 3 categories of awards available:

  1. Norris Center Student Award: Up to $1,000 to support undergraduate student natural history projects.
  2. Webster Fellows Award: A $3,000 stipend to support 2-quarter-long undergraduate student senior projects that collaborate between the Norris Center and the Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History.
  3. Griswold Fellows Program: Up to $3,000 stipend to support UCSC undergraduate students majoring in Environmental Studies to do a senior internship or thesis that informs and promotes land conservation and/or restoration in California.
