COSMOS

The Norris Center hosted the California State Summer School for Mathematics and Science (COSMOS) cluster- Bugs and Bones: The Biodiversity and Ecology of Vertebrates and Invertebrates in the Monterey Bay Region. Taught by Andy Kulikowski and Gizelle Hurtado. COSMOS is a rigorous, four-week residential program for high school students. Courses are designed to introduce students to subjects not traditionally offered in high school. Students conducted entomological research and mammal behavior and abundance research on the UCSC campus. The Bugs and Bones COSMOS cluster was a resounding success! See Photos below.
