Hike at Cotoni-Coast Dairies National Monument, Davenport
Thursday, June 5, 2025, 9 am – 12:30 pm
Friends of the Norris Center members are invited to a hike at the Cotoni-Coast Dairies National Monument, located just north of Davenport on the inland side of Highway 1. Mike Powers, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Natural Resource Specialist, will lead the tour of this recent addition to the California Coastal National Monument, which is not yet open to the public.
The hike will traverse coastal grassland, chaparral, oak woodlands, and redwood forest, and offer spectacular views of the coast. The hike will be tailored to the needs of the group, but will likely last 2.5–3 hours with some elevation gain.
Space is limited and pre-registration by Friday, May 30 is required. Click here for details and to register.
