Support Natural History Field Quarter students to help offset additional travel and accommodation costs . This need-based scholarship was created in celebration of past student Annais Rittenberg (NHFQ 2013).

Randall Morgan Initiative
Support the stewardship of Randy Morgan’s collections and build on his legacy of observation and preservation of local rare species and sensitive habitats.

Frank Andrews Fund for Student Empowerment
Support undergraduate student stipends and lecturer salaries to mentor and teach students using the same educational philosophy Frank brought to his life-changing courses at UC Santa Cruz.

Dick Cooley Fund for Student Conservation Internships
Help provide funding to support students participating in conservation-focused internships and classes. This includes funding for travel costs to encourage participation in faraway places such as Alaska where Dick Cooley focused much of his work during his tenure as an Environmental Studies faculty member in the 1970’s and 1980’s

Norris Center Public Events Fund
Help support the Norris Center in hosting public events for the UCSC and broader Santa Cruz community. This includes funding to support all costs associated with our annual symposia, student-alumni events, and future “lecture-series” events that bring together voices from diverse disciplines to discuss relevant topics in natural history, conservation, and other important current event topics.
