With enormous gratitude, we celebrate the life of University of California, Santa Cruz Professor Emeritus Frank Andrews, who died of cancer on January 31, 2024, at age 91. During his remarkable career spanning over five decades, he inspired thousands of students through his teaching of chemistry, human values, and personal empowerment.

All are welcome to attend a memorial celebration for Frank at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2024, at the Stevenson Event Center at UC Santa Cruz. There will be a reception afterwards with simple food, which will be held in the beautiful Stevenson Courtyard. Please bring layers to stay comfortable in variable weather. 

Parking: Please arrive early to allow for parking. Parking will be $5 in the nearest lots (Cowell-Stevenson lots 107, 109, and 110), which we suggest for anyone with limited mobility. Free parking is available farther away at Merrill College (lot 119), Crown College (lot 111), Hahn Student Services (lot 101), and the East Remote Lot (lot 104).
