Internships and Jobs

In general the Norris Center sponsors students for internships in four ways:

1) Norris Center Internships (2-unit or 5-unit)

2) As part of the CAMINO program (take a look at the CAMINO website for application due dates).

3) Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History internships

4) Chancellor's Undergraduate Internship Program interns that help the Norris Center with outreach.

5) As a senior research project, senior thesis or independent research. Past projects have had a diverse range of projects, including curation of natural history collections, teaching student-led seminars, taxidermy, and conducting self-designed natural history projects. Contact Chris Lay (cml@ucsc.edu) or Norris Center staff for more information on these internships.
